Lumber
Boreal Forests are densely packed forests that can get quite cold in the winter. They're a fine place to find valuable minerals to extract.
Grasslands are full of many unique plants, and they're a perfect place for farming. They also contain coal, iron, and other useful minerals.
Mountain Ranges are terribly cold with lots of rain. They aren't pretty to settle, but they provide marketworthy minerals to sell.
